Here As promised… 😊 Olaf’s Witches Brew
 
This is a recipe passed down from my grandmother—who was a bit of a witch. The post-war era required a lot of self-reliance, and her quote “Heaven and hell begins in the nerves” is the inspiration behind her anti-inflammation, smell-good tea.
 
Many of the ingredients in this mix don’t seem to make sense to most people, but I know that when I wake up puffy, congested, or just generally a bit “inflamed,” this tea is my go-to medicine. I can’t claim any of the benefits to be 100% verifiable, as I’m neither a doctor nor an herbalist—I just trust my grandmother’s word and my own experience. But here are some benefits I’ve experienced:
 
I used to be allergic to dairy and wheat. This took both of those allergies away or at least minimized them to a non-noticeable degree. I sleep better. I am less anxious. It de-inflames me after a night of fried, salty, sugary foods…
 
So as part of my Anti-Anxiety World Campaign—a body not on fire is a calmer one. My intention is not to be the expert on anything but rather to pass on what I have experienced, and hope it works for you as well as it did for me.
 
But I will warn you—this is not a recipe for a delicious tea. This is a weapon. A potent antidote to the modern poisons surrounding us…
 
But this isn’t for everyone. You really will need to want something to change to suffer its flavor.
 
Because this tea is about as charming as a 1940s German bureaucrat. It’s extremely bitter… It’s not an English poodle, but rather the Doberman of teas… This tea is here to protect you, clean the system and neutralize whatever’s making you feel tired, foggy, and maybe a little smelly - not to sit on your lap, lick your hand, and keep you company…
